Ive got so many things to write about today. Its more like an aggregation of pent-up thoughts. Ill be telling stuff that was due a week ago, but I wasnt able to post them because our internet connection had just become an epic fail.

The first thing Ill talk about will be my 2D animation class in KORPHIL. So far, so good; were still on track since we officially started our class last Tuesday. We are currently tackling the pre-production part of the animation process, and we already have our project.
The first thing in animation is to have a vision; something that an animator wants to accomplish by his animation. Then he makes an artistic model that thinks of factors such as the stakeholders (to who will the animation be targeted) and its relevance to them, the budget, in what form will the animation be, and what will be its function. We students did just that.
By the way, the class is composed of about eight to ten people, the majority of which are fresh graduates; from high school, that is. We also have an entrepreneur, a Psychology graduate, and so on; the class is just diverse, though that diversity is limited to the older ones (like myself).
Anyway, back to our project; our vision was to promote Filipino culture, and it concretized into a project that is targeted to audience aged 12 to 20, and the main topic that our animation would tackle is the Filipino values, specifically lakas ng loob (confidence). We would be trying to show that trait by animating a boxing match. Of course, more details will be revealed to us when we finished all our pre-production discussions.

Then the next thing will be about the Badjao.
I always ride a jeepney on my way to KORPHIL. It was relatively easier that way than riding a bus, because since April everyday has been a traffic jam day (and there are a few to no aircon buses at all in that part of Novaliches).
One time, while I was asleep inside the jeep, our silence was disturbed by two oddly-dressed people giving away envelopes that said, Konting tulong lang po para sa mga Badjao or something like it. After giving us the envelopes, one person starts playing his drums made of powdered milk cans, while the other one dances. It was then that I started to grow annoyed.
WHYAM I SUPPOSED TO GIVE THEM ALMS WHEN ONE OF THEM WEARS A GOLD WRISTWATCH WHILE I DONT?
I dont have anything against these people, but what I believe is that they are using their title and heritage just to ask for alms on the streets? They could do better than that! I mean, they are better off at the museum or something, flaunting their talents (if you can call them that). But theres also a thought running at the back of my mind that tells me that its all a modus operandi by a syndicate or something, and that should not be tolerated. If they are truly what they claim they are, then they should ask support from the government collectively, and not in pairs roaming and caroling as if everydays Christmas day!
You know, ever since I got held up July last year, I never again trusted these kinds of people.

And then there's our internet connection that is an epic fail. Yep, damn Smart BRO. When we first had it installed on our computers, it was a server system: in order for the computers to access the internet, there has to be a host computer sharing the internet connection, which means one computer always has to be turned on while other computers are being used to surf the net. We asked the technicians who installed the antenna if we can just share the internet among all our computers so that we dont have to keep one computer online most of the time. They said we should use a router for that setting.
The first day I tried that connection, it was going well. Until these past weeks, that is. Our internet connection started to fail at us. Everytime we try to connect to the net, we always get redirected to this wireless portal shit. And then we lose the connection.
When I finally got to reach communication with technical support from Smart, they told me to isolate my router and put back my original setting. Damn.
If I only thought SmartBRO is going to be this inefficient, then I should have took it upon myself to look for DSL here in Bulacan, but the problem is, is something there already?

Anyway, now that I've gotten those pent-up frustrations on my mind, let me go on to the lighter side of things, my quest to find the true complete versions of Justice Gakuens (Rival Schools) theme songs have come to fruition thanks to YouTube and a certain program called YouTube Video Grabber! After all that hard search for those songs, I never thought Ill actually end up finding them on YouTube!
The program I got allowed me to download those YouTube videos and convert them to MP3s simultaneously. However, its just a trial version, so I need a key generator to install it completely. But I think after I obtained Atsuki Kodou and Ashita no Yukue, it has served its purpose, so I uninstalled the program.
The songs have somewhat low bit rate, but theyre still worth it. Listen to them here.

Then theres my cell phone, a Nokia 2630. I dont mean to brag, but finally, I get to use my phone in its full potential! I got to make use of Windows Movie Maker and Jodix WMA to MP3 Converter too.
Basically, what I did was to put music files, ring tones, and the images I Photoshopped onto my cell phone. Thanks to my sisters Bluetooth device, I was able to do just that, but not without first lowering the bit rate of the songs and resizing the pictures.
Now I wont be settling for mediocre FM radio stations! LOL

Next is the job hunt. Nothing much about it, though. Its only that I am not serious enough in looking for a job. Anyway, might as well apply for one, if I want to fulfill my cosplay dreams. I have a pending costume plan, mind me. (Hahaha, look, Im talking to me! LOL)

Oh well, so much for today. I still have a pending drawing in mind. I think I better post this soon, before our damn internet connection fails on me again.

I've already reached the 10000th hit. And no one wanted a kiriban. That's good.
